 BhamRadio.comCox Broadcasting has dropped its short-lived urban talk format on WENN-AM 1320 in favor of a "neo-soul" format. In conjunction with the format change, WENN begins simulcasting its programming on the newly-dubbed "WENN-FM", a translator officially known as W270BW at 101.9 FM. In late August, the WENN translator was moved from 101.9 to 102.1 FM, increasing its power to 228 watts with a stronger signal over the Birmingham area.
